Dan Schneiderman

Eclipse Partnership Coordinator, RMSC

Dan Schneiderman is the Eclipse Partnership Coordinator at the RMSC. He has over 10 years of experience producing STEAM-based events and coordinating sectors at festivals including Maker Faire Rochester, the New York State Fair, and the Rochester Fringe Festival. He currently sits on subcommittees for the AAS National Eclipse Committee and hosted the October 2022 AAS Eclipse Planning Workshop.

Leanne Favreau

Interpretive Programs Coordinator, The Wild Center

Leanne Favreau earned a B.A. in Integrated Studies combining Environmental Studies, Natural Resource Sustainability, and Hospitality from Paul Smith’s College. There she later taught biology labs and conducted research on the use of silvopastures to mitigate climate change. Currently, Leanne is the Program Coordinator at The Wild Center. She works collaboratively with the programming team to develop engaging experiences in nature for visitors of all ages. Leanne has managed several projects with a community engagement focus such as a volunteer-constructed art installation, cultural festivals, teen internship program, and community maple program. 

Paige A. Engard

Director of Communications, Genesee Country Village & Museum

Paige A. Engard is the Director of Communications at Genesee Country Village & Museum in Mumford, NY. Paige has a Master’s Degree in American History from The College at Brockport, and has spent the last 11 years in the field of non-profit marketing and social media. Prior to her current role, Paige has worked in social media and marketing at The Adirondack Museum and Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester. In her current role at Genesee Country Village & Museum, NY State’s largest living history museum, Paige directs and informs the organization’s communication strategy.

Hillary Olson, President and CEO,RMSC

Hillary Olson is the President and CEO of the RMSC. She is a highly engaged leader and lifelong learner with over 25 years of experience leading and transforming nonprofit STEM institutions including natural and cultural history museums, nature centers, and science centers. Prior to starting at RMSC, Hillary worked at the Milwaukee Public Museum, Franklin Institute Science Museum, Long Island Children’s Museum, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and the Griffith Observatory and Planetarium in Los Angeles. She holds a B.S. in Earth and Space Sciences and an M.S. in Museum Leadership.
