Elmira, NY – Local artist, Joyce Merletti, has assembled an impressive display of more than 30 of her beautiful icons to exhibit at the National Soaring Museum during the fall and winter months.

Joyce began to work in iconography in 2004, as a student of Peter Pearson and has so far completed about 140 icons. Her traditional icons present images of Christ, the Saints and events depicted in the Gospels - all in vivid colors with gold highlights, meticulously executed.

Admission to Joyce Merletti’s Icon Exhibit is included in the regular museum admission of $7.50 for Adults, $6.00 for seniors, and $4.50 for children 7-18.  Children 6 years and under are free and there is also a family rate of $20 which includes 2 adults and 2 or more children or grandchildren.            Open daily 10-4.
