    Safety Culture for Cultural Organizations

    University at Albany, University Libraries

Museums, Libraries, Archives – are there hidden hazards in YOUR collections? Are there chemical or biological risks lurking in the stacks? What health and safety risks should your organization actively plan for?

Come meet our presenter, John Van Raalte, an industrial hygienist and Director of Industrial Hygiene Services at the Occupational and Environmental Health Center of Eastern New York (OEHC) in Albany.  John will help us identify potential risks and outline protections when in proximity to suspect materials and explain how to create a safety culture in your organization.

    WHEN: October 17, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

WHERE: Standish Room, Science Library 3rd Floor - University at Albany, Uptown Campus

COST: $10/person. University at Albany students can register for free!

Watch for further details and registration information!!!
