    About the Institution: Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House is a non-profit organization with a primary mission to preserve, interpret, and promote Martin House.

    A National Historic Landmark and a premier New York State Historic Site, Martin House is operated under a cooperative agreement with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation and the State University of New York at Buffalo.

    Today, the fully-restored Martin House stands as a compelling symbol of civic identity and cultural pride.

    Job Description: Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House, located in Buffalo, NY, is seeking a qualified individual to join its leadership team as our Tour Development Manager. This individual will be responsible for management of all tour programs and work to identify new business opportunities that will result in visitation growth. We offer a competitive salary for this full-time position and the opportunity to be a part of a rewarding time in the history of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Martin House.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Work collaboratively with other leadership to develop tour schedules that maximize the opportunity for increased attendance and revenue.
    Oversee the online ticketing platform to assist developing monthly tour schedule and revisions; utilize reporting capabilities to guide decisions.
    Monitor and maintain current tourism statistics, projects, and trends.
    Create, implement, and manage a tour development plan, designed to identify strategic growth opportunities.
    Strengthen existing and pro-actively identify new/different business opportunities to increase revenue.
    Develop strategies and partnerships to drive out-of-market and regional visitor traffic, specifically targeting the travel/hospitality industries and the architecture/design fields.
    Develop and manage relationships with industry partners, working collaboratively on growth opportunities beneficial to all parties.
    Work closely with Director of Marketing to maximize sales opportunities through specific marketing initiatives and expand awareness of the Martin House as a premier tourism destination.

    Education and Experience Requirements:
    Minimum of five years’ experience in a tourism related, business development, or marketing field
    Knowledge of the tourism or museum industry
    Bachelor’s Degree in travel/tourism, business development, marketing, or equivalent professional experience.

    Strong analytical and organizational skills
    Business plan and report writing skills.
    Goal-oriented, organized team player
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    Ability to develop and foster industry relationships
