Peter Hyde Region: New York City Committee(s): Membership/Fundraising, Strategic Planning Peter Hyde is a highly accomplished designer with over 20 years of experience in the professional design field. Peter worked independently and for internationally recognized design firms before realizing his long term goal of founding Peter Hyde Design in 2012 to provide dynamic and innovative exhibit and experience design solutions for a wide range of project subjects and client types. A graduate of the California Institute of the Arts in performing arts design and technology Peter has worked in theatre, film, television, themed entertainment, branded environments and museums. His career has taken him from coast to coast of the United States, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Peter’s clients include museums, historical societies, learning centers, science centers, sports facilities and Fortune 500 companies. These include Beacon Memorial Hospital, Campbell Historical Museum, Chicago Bears Football Club, Consumers Energy, Liberty Science Center, National Hellenic Museum, New York City Fire Museum, Pelopidas, LLC, Saks Fifth Avenue, United States Golf Association Museum, Wake Forest University School of Medicine and the Waukesha County Museum. Peter is active in several design and museum associations and is an Adjunct Professor in the Visual Presentation and Exhibition Design Department at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. |
