Envisioning Our Museums for the Seventh Generation

MANY is pleased to announce two scholarship opportunities for museum professionals to attend “Envisioning Our Museums for the Seventh Generation” 2022 Annual Conference in Corning, April 9-12, 2022.

Conference Scholarships

Scholarship for BIPOC Museum Administrators

Awarded to a Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color working in museum administration who has played a leadership role in advancing the capacity and sustainability of their museum.

Cassetti Annual Conference Scholarship

Awarded to a museum professional who has demonstrated creative leadership and has affected significant, positive change in the ways in which their museum engages with audiences.


Those eligible for the Annual Conference Scholarships must be employed full time in a museum in New York State. The awardee is only eligible to receive this scholarship once. The recipient will be required to sign a letter of agreement before receipt of the stipend.

These scholarships include conference registration, one workshop or special event registration, two nights in the Hilton Garden Inn, Corning, up to $150 travel reimbursement, and complimentary individual MANY membership for one year.

Following the conference, Scholarship recipients will be required to submit a 500 to 1,000 word article for the MANY newsletter This Month in NYS Museums

Applications will be reviewed by a committee of MANY board members and museum professionals from the Corning area.
