New York State’s museums, libraries and archives are facing a monumental task to collect and preserve the history of the COVID-19 pandemic. From immediate efforts to long-term projects New York’s collecting institutions have responded in varying ways to meet the challenges associated with documenting the impact of a global pandemic on New Yorkers. We look forward to a roundtable discussion with representatives from a broad spectrum of organizations that have undertaken this work. Join us on Thursday, February 25 at 3 PM as we discuss COVID-19 documentation projects across the state, the challenges and success associated with this work, and how collecting institutions can balance the need to document individual stories with institutional responses to the pandemic.

Registrants will receive the Zoom link via email the day before or by 2:30 PM for same-day registrations. Registration will close at 2:20 PM

This webinar is free; advance registration required. Participants are encouraged to submit discussion questions during registration.
