7. How do I get to Albany?

By plane: Delta Air Lines is pleased to offer special discounts for the Museum Association of New York. Click here to book flights or you can call Delta Meeting Network at 1-800-328-1111 Monday - Friday 8 AM - 6:30 PM EST and refer to Meeting Event Code NM3BV

By train: Albany has a convenient Amtrak station.

By car: Albany is four hours from Buffalo, two hours from Syracuse and 2.5 hours from NYC. The hotel has a garage and conference attendees will receive discounted parking at $10 per night.

8. Will MANY require proof of vaccination or require any mask-wearing?

With the safety of our colleagues foremost in mind, conference attendees are asked to adhere to the CDC and New York State Department of Health guidelines for safe gatherings. The requirements mandated by the host site where the gathering will take place will prevail if they are more stringent than the guidelines offered by the CDC, New York State Department of Health, or MANY.

MANY will rely on the host organization in the administration of those requirements and will notify all attendees of those requirements.

These requirements may include wearing masks appropriately, practicing social distancing, practicing practical sanitation procedures, and any other safe gathering guidelines in place at the time of the conference.

Conference Cancellation Policy

If for any reason, MANY cancels the conference, we will issue you a full refund.

If you cancel your registration before Monday April 1, that request must be made in writing via email to conference@nysmuseums.org. We will refund you the full amount of your registration, minus a $45 administrative fee
